Welcome to my website! Please be patient with me from time to time while this website is being updated. I feel very fortunate to have found Mindy Brown, a very talented lady who has done an awesome job of rebuilding this website for me (her contact information is at the bottom of the page). While website building is not my field of expertise, I am a PCA-Certified Master Photographer with 13 years experience--six years of which were spent managing as many as 11 of the largest discount portrait studios in this district (from Warsaw, Indiana to Benton Harbor, Michigan). It was seven years ago that I decided to open my own portrait studio. My idea was to create a studio unlike the cookie-cutter, assembly-line, so-called "discount" studios--a studio where the customer would not feel pressured and would have total freedom to create their own individual portrait package. What a concept...unique, professional portraits at true discount prices! The name, "The Picture Lady," actually came about as the result of a direct quote from some of my customers. While shopping from time to time, different customers would say things like, "Look, Mommy, it's the Picture Lady!"
